About the Event
On this course, participants will learn backpacking basics at a primitive hike-in site at a Colorado state park. Participants will learn how to pack a pack, backcountry cooking, proper food storage, and leave no trace principles. There will also be downtime for each participant to enjoy themselves in a backcountry setting.
Transportation to and from the event is included. Gear is provided for those who need it.
Note: first night of this course is at a local business doing pack and gear checks.
